Our Story
TREHERNE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE INC is part of the national Friendship Centre Movement, which has over 120 Centres across Canada. We provide culturally relevant programming and services for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents.
Our drop-in centre serves older adults aged 55+ with recreation, social engagement, and community meals. We also support housing needs, mental health, employment, family services, and community advocacy.
Our goal is to strengthen the social determinants of health and foster community connection in Treherne and surrounding areas.
